ABOUT US

The Center in Tampa is a multicultural house, where our desire is to be transparent and serve one another in humility. Our goal is to be as it was in the beginning of the church era: where Jew and Gentile worshipped together and ministered to the down and out, the orphans, widows, and prisoners. Our mission is to invite those who do not Know Him to the saving knowledge of Jesus, to beckon those who have strayed to an urgent return, and to call the Church to an uncompromising surrender.

The Center in Tampa is a young ministry. We are in the process of becoming who we are as God leads us. Elements of our Services have a Hebraic, Contemporary, Urban, yet 1st Century flavor. We make no apologies for things that we do which Jesus did or believed.

Our desire is to be an authentic assembly (church) where the actual presence of God is truly manifested, not just in a building but in our lives, a community where there is true fellowship with God and each other. We want to be a community that is God orchestrated a group of believers that KNOW AND LOVE HIM. As we search the Scriptures we seek to Know and Love the God of the Bible, not the God created in our image and our likeness for He stands supreme in that He is the Great I AM.

We are seeking to grow as individuals, couples, families and as a community. It is our goal to have this evident in our reverence and devotion to Him and to others. We then become actual doers of the Word and not just hearers. We are part of a generation that is springing up all over the world, being called to trade the traditions of man for the traditions of God or the ways of God ( 2 Thess 2:15, 1 Cor 11:1,2 ). We hunger for the deeper things of God and we know that they are found in God’s foundational order. We are excited in what God is doing at The Center in Tampa.

We presently meet on Friday nights, promptly at 7:30pm EST, at 12010 Colonial Estates Lane Riverview, FL 33579.
